Sandra Harrison, MA, RP.

As a registered psychotherapist, I look to connect with you from a place of empathy, non-judgement, and compassion in order to collaborate together to build practical solutions, build self-awareness, and find wholeness in your life. You can experience transformation and develop the ability to make the choices that you want to make!

I am committed to being a trauma-informed practitioner, and I specialize in working with the 2SLGBTQI+ community; with women who are healing from trauma; and with neurodiverse people. Additionally, I know firsthand how harmful religion can be, and I consider it an honour to help my clients heal from spiritual harm.

I have a Masters in Spiritual Care & Psychotherapy, and have worked for 7+ years specializing in gender identity and sexuality. I am certified in EMDR, Narrative Therapy, and Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy.
I have extensive training in transgender health care through WPATH, CPATH, and Rainbow Health Ontario.
I have taken courses in the Wholistic Healing Practices & Colonial Trauma Certificate program with Wilfrid Laurier’s Centre for Indigegogy.

My goal is to compassionately support you in understanding patterns that have you feeling stuck and to explore your inner world. Together, my clients and I work through anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, low self-esteem, stress management, relationship issues, and other life experiences. I will walk alongside you in your search for meaningful change.
