Are you struggling to calm your mind? Do you have overwhelming feelings of sadness or hopelessness? Perhaps you are looking to understand how to navigate a mood disorder. Do you want more contentment in your life and relationships?
These experiences are common for many of us, and an indicator that we need a safe and supportive space to navigate life and address our concerns.
I have a Masters in Spiritual Care & Psychotherapy from Wilfrid Laurier University and a Bachelor of Arts degree from OCAD University. I have experience working alongside adults and adolescents navigating a variety of issues, including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, stress, communication, boundaries, trauma-related issues, and grief. I have experience working with the LGBT2Q+ community; women who are healing from trauma; and with neurodiverse people. I have experience and a particular interest in working with adolescents and young adults to come up with unique healing alternatives for those who might be hesitant to start counselling. I strive to create a space that honours your inherent wisdom, skills and creativity as we explore your experience and hopes. My approach is relationally focused, strengths-based and rooted in anti-oppressive and trauma-informed frameworks My goal is to gently encourage you to recognize your potential to create positive and meaningful change.
